What size of church is Morehead ChristWay?

We are around the average size of a church in America today. At around 60 members, you'll find that we are tight-knit, friendly congregation.

What time does service start?

Service on Sundays start at 10 am  with Sunday School and that lasts until 10:45. Then at 11 am, Morning Worship begins! On Wednesday evenings, 7 pm begins our Family Training Hour that lasts an hour.

What do I wear?

Come as you are to worship God. Dress is casual and varied at Morehead ChristWay. Some men may wear dress shirts and pants with a tie and sport coat, while others may wear a shirt and jeans. Women wear slacks, dresses, skirts, or jeans. God looks at the soul, not the suit. 

What is a normal service like?

Sunday School and Wednesday services is all about teaching so there is teaching/discussion heavily involved. Morning Worship usually lasts 60 to 90 minutes and starts off with praise and worship aka songs. The sermon will last anywhere from 20 to 50 minutes depending on the flow of service and the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Will I be asked to give money?

We do bring an offering that our members and regular attenders are familiar with.  If you are a visitor/guest, please know that you are not obligated to give but may if you wish.
